It was two off the Caps' franchise record of 25 straight games scoring at least three times, originally set from December 22, 1984-February 14, 1985...Auld's last start was a 4-2 loss to Phoenix with Dallas on January 31...The Rangers were last blanked in Montreal on January 23, a 6-0 setback.
